Over the past 3 years i have been very fortunate to be able to have Jimmy and Dan Cherry at Moemoea Park, Matamata, break in my young thoroughbreds.

Their education concludes with being floated to Matamata Racecourse to be worked so that this is part of their education doesn’t fall onto track riders who have (in most cases) never seen the young thoroughbred before. In my opinion this makes for an easier transition to regular track attendance in a new environment.

Their attention to detail is excellent, and when i get the educated youngster to the stable, they are well mannered and happy to do as they are asked!
